Most people do not take bad photos because of their camera or how they look. They take bad photos because, in the moment in front of the lens, they do not know what to do with their hands, their feet, or their eyes. Those few seconds of hesitation are exactly what a camera records most faithfully, and they show up in almost every photo you were not happy with.

The usual answer is to look at some reference photos beforehand and try to remember them. But remembering a pose is nothing like seeing one. You half-recall something about tilting and a hand in your hair, produce a shape that looks nothing like what you saw, and only discover it once you are home.

Posella removes the remembering entirely. The reference pose sits translucent over your live camera feed, on screen, while you are shooting. You see the outline you need to match, shift a foot, drop your shoulders, and take the picture. Nothing to guess, nothing to recall, no shooting twenty frames and hoping.

The app carries hundreds of poses grouped by real settings: traditional dress, graduation, cafes, beaches, streets, meadows and many more. Each setting has its own set, because a pose that suits a flowing ao dai is not the pose that suits a rocky shoreline. You can also upload your own reference — any image with the background removed — and use it exactly like the built-in ones.
